Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with CONXX

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of Lackawanna County does hereby enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with CONXX, for a Broadband Infrastructure Application Submission for a county-wide, carrier-grade, multi-service network to benefit the county. Lackawanna County will work with CONXX to file an application for the broadband stimulus project available as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The County will pay CONXX a retainer of $11,000.00 for work required to complete and submit the Broadband Infrastructure Grant Application.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Lackawanna County held on March 10, 2010.
